“People think Paris is a cold town but while living here I met French people of a rare holiness !
One day I was drawing a portrait of two beautiful little girls, and while their parents were waiting, they shared with me a bit of their story.
They were just coming back from Sarajevo where they went right after the war, to help with humanitarian actions. They didn’t know anything about the country nor the language, nor the culture, but still went just because they wanted to help.
And you know what ? They were so warmly welcomed by the people there, that adapting to their new life hasn’t been an issue at all.
When you think about it sugar is always sweet for everyone and when it hurts, it hurts for everyone. There’s no nations, no religions only humanity.”
Linda’s answer to the signification of Humans Over Borders: “ UNION”.
Thank you to this amazing artist, who doesn’t just draw a picture but knows how to look in people’s heart and shows it in her art.#HOB
