« In what way do we think we’re different ?
Well although we live and study in Paris we’re all from Morocco where we spent a part of our childhood !

The longest for me – Samy said – left alone by these girls until last grade can you imagine? (laughs) For three of us, we knew each other because we went to the same french highschool there.
So growing up there definitely made us see life here differently »,

Warda on the left added: « That’s what immediately caught my attention when i met them:
they’re such life loving persons and although we just know each other for a few months now, they never made me feel any different in terms of friendship
« .

Imane and Mona then told me about how they didn’t know the word « stress » there !
-« And hey don’t you feel like an absolute alien sometimes when you’re just trying to say hello to a stranger or adress a smile ?- said Samy
– « In Morocco everyone can talk to anyone in the streets and it’s absolutely nor-mal girl !  » explained Imane.

Mona also added something about stereotypes :
« We can definitely feel a difference in terms of mentalities: When you’re just a kid and another kid says he doesn’t want to play with you because you’re more tanned than he is, or because your hair look different, you know something is wrong.
No one is born hating another person but education can change it all ! « .

Their interpretation of Humans Over Borders:
» Brotherhood, Exchange and Sharing »

-Samy:  » Well, now let us show you the Moroccan smile ! »

Thank you for your dashing smiles guys.
